Cass Community Soup Kitchen. Stage Deli in conjunction with Chef 2 Chef brought our kitchen to the Cass Community Soup Kitchen May 1st 2013. From our prior experience we learned that the patrons of the kitchen craved deli. So deli it was for 350 Detroiters in need. In addition to our hot corned beef sandwiches, our white bean chicken chili was a big hit. Click here to see photos of the outing.
Detroit Zoo Annual Fundraiser. In our 7th year, Stage Deli was honored for serving the judged best entrée of the 30 Detroit eateries participating in this terrific fundraiser. We’ve served a large variety of our menu over the years, from Beltaire salads to chopped liver treats. But the winner this year, no big leap, was the corned beef sandwich. Wine & Dine in the D. Benefitting the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the Stage was one of several premier Detroit restaurants entertaining guests at Orchestra Hall. Over 400 guests dined on mini sandwiches helping the organizations raise over $100,000. Click here to see photos of the gala.
